Monkeys on the Front Page

Front page on the New York Times today--Monkey mania makes chaos in New Delhi!
In the Indian city of  New Delhi, wild city monkeys run free. The monkeys have gotten too smart to trap, and they are considered sacred by the local Hindus, who feed them twice weekly. The monkeys are taking over, coming in your windows, and snatching your people up! For instance:
  • Making a playground of Parliament
  • Giving people rabies
  • Biting innocent children
  • Stealing candy from the hands of children
  • Attacking one woman while she bathed
  • Killing the mayor by chasing him off a balcony
  • Injuring a 14-year-old girl by chasing her off a roof
  • Attacking people in the face
  • Invading the Prime Minister's office
  • Preventing people from enjoying their yards
  • Destroying crops
  • Stealing clothes
  • Stealing onions
  • Scaling walls
  • Mugging people on the streets to take their bread!
These pestilential primates are a public nuisance in New Delhi.

Harry Potter and the Avengers

Just in case you needed further proof that your favorite BYU student (I'm the only one at school right now, anyway!) is lost, confused, and otherwise hopeless, I present the following:
A group from my ward decided to attend the midnight showing of "The Avengers" (excellent movie, by the way. Clean, fun, and funny. Full points.). One of our friends suggested that we dress up for the film. My roommates and I got a little confused, though...

Lindsay is a stunningly evil Bellatrix Lestrange, I am a marvelous Tonks, Heidi made a charming Hermione, and Morgan is startling Professor Trelawney. We definitely got some stares at the movie theater!
